No. If your procedures contain ambiguous field names in queries, FB will
reject them. With IB, you get unexpected results without noticing the
damage. Same if your client apps generate ambiguous queries.

No, if you have a column named FIRST or SKIP or CURRENT_USER or
CURRENT_ROLE. FB1.5 adds more keywords, following the SQL standard.

IBOConsole, IBAccess, IBExpert personal edition, plus a cheap but powerful
DB WorkBench for FB.
