Hi Lester
I think the PHP people may be rather open to this.
Here's a PHP weblog comparing Oracle and MySQL - somehow Firebird
managed to rise from the ashes there to perform very well:
http://php.weblogs.com/oracle_mysql_performance
Also, there's quite an interesting discussion here for PHP users
comparing MySQL, PostgreSQL and Firebird:
http://forums.devshed.com/t62269/s.html
Meanwhile, I'm busy advocating closer integration between Firebird
and Revolution on the http://www.runrev.com lists (Revolution is a
multi-platform RAD tool, that - like Firebird - has a lengthy
pedigree under another name).
