If not, then standardizing on java (or anything, as long as it's
standard) is a Good Thing. At least we won't be completely clueless when
moving to a new database platform (not that I'm planning to move away
from firebird anytime soon...:).
This is nitpicking, but if the sql standard does not cover storedproc
and/or triggers, then we have never 'use sql to write stored procedures'
anyway...:)
