Not really. The main problem I have found is...

"Oracle and DB2 are our officially supported database servers, we have site
licences for both, and DBA's/Admins for both"

"..but Firebird is free and requires no admin"

"...but its not on our official supported list"

"..how do I get it on the support list?"

"..it needs to be Oracle or DB2"

..and so on...
