I'm not here to decide whatever course of action you choose. My point
is only
to point out that you may not in fact have the right (neither ethically
or
legally) to defend a name and demand they change their name, if the
name is
not yours to start with.

There's imho nothing wrong with politely asking them to change it
though.

This is of course only my opinion. And IANAL of course.
