Kylix 1 had too many niggles, and several of us had problems
with it. Borland was offering the bug fixes, but then came
up with Kylix 2 ( so we have to pay for bug fixes <g> ).
I know that Jason has the same problem as myself. There is
too much going on in other areas that are taking up time so
that something has to give. My customers have now decided
that Linux may be a 'safer' move than trying to go to XP
where as 12 months ago they were planning for W2k - but
never got to the start of that updat - they are still
installing NT4 and W98SE ( yes we can still get licences! )
Personally I NEED the Builder compatible version of Kylix,
but I have installed Builder6 and there are another set of
delays while I re-write every application so that it will
work - WHY can't the Builder5 to Builder6 conversion program
actually do the job, leaving us to manually work on years of
code.
So bottom line - if you have spare time make a start <g>
