A few months ago, I mentioned I was interested in a free replication tool
for interbase. I created a Sourceforge project called FiBRE to work on it. I
have just made a proper website for the project (but stil not a very
detailed/complete one), and started two mailing lists, one for announcements
and one for discussion.
I have put up information about how the replication engine will work. It may
seem very unconventional - I have not based it on the IBReplicator tool.
If you are vaguely interested in following developments, subscribe to the
announce list:
http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fibre-announce
If you are interested in shaping the project, and want to participate at
this planning stage, subscribe to the discussion list:
http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fibre-discussion
The website is at http://fibre.sourceforge.net/
Note: Some browsers seem to have trouble with the JavaScript on that page.
If your's is one of them, could you e-mail me (or the discussion list), and
tell me what browser you are using and what errors you get.
Any feedback would be apreciated.
Thanks,
Robert Munro
