Hello, All!
I have Firebird licensing question:
During last 2-3 months there is higher activity of goverment organizations in Russia,
checking companies for software piracy (mostly in regions).
Borland Interbase have IPL, which can be used to ensure that it is
free for commercial use or distribution.
But seems that Firebird does not have such document, or at least
license statement in readme.txt.
I'm asking Firebird people to pay attention for this question, make
license statement and include it into EVERY distributive or snapshot build.
It can be in english - no problems with translation.
p.s. please, don't tell that person must show goverment people the same IPL
if Firebird is used. License statement MUST be included in every installation (ondisk),
because at first police take all company computers out, and only then asks company
about each software installed.
