I think this is a good idea but it can also be extended to allow
developers to provide the same application written in a variety of tools
and methodologies the aim to be

a) To have the best chance of showing someone how to use Firebird with
their chosen development tools (eg Delphi or Java Servlets or ASP or
Python or ...)

b) To help people see how they can access their existing
firebird databases with other tools

c) To allow comparisons between development techniques (eg compare java
using JSP to Java with WebMacro).
