Well Jason, I think I'm not extremely choosy. I only have a few very
basic ideas about what a Firebird site should look like in order to
give an acceptable presentation of this community. Here they are:

Not a single one of these is realized in the current Firebird site.

This are not details, there are fundamental problems in the current
presentation of the community.

As explained by Pavel in an earlier post, this new list is for
communication amongst webmasters. The questions I want to discuss are
about the type of website Firebird wants to have and how it intends
to organize itself to realize it. That's much more than a webmaster
talk.

Therefore, if I may, I suggest to rather use the new list for general
discussion about Firebird internals:

Sure, I understand the IBDI list has a very wide audience, with
persons interested in the InterBase/Firebird OSS movement for various
reasons. My apologies to those who I may have disturbed.
