Hi,
I mainly lurk here and follow discussions ever since Helen added me in -
I started using PHP a few months ago and I like it a lot, providing you
take care with the design up front you can assemble sites that are very
easy to maintain with interface and logic separated very nicely. These
PHP-enabled hosting services you mention - do you have any rough idea of
the costs? Just thought I would mention www.ghoulnet.com who provide a
hosting package from about £35 a year for 25Mb - I have a bit of
experience of their service and cannot think of anything bad to say - if
you wanted a database behind the site I don't think they have Interbase
as an option - I was actually thinking of seeing if they would but for
now it is MySQL only.
OK, back to lurking now :-)

It is getting there. I would like to use PHP for its flexibility and i
have
a few hosting companies in mind that provide php as standard, of course
if
someone wants to provide the hosting all the better. All you hosting
people
speak up. :-)
I think we have gotten to the stage where the content for the site needs
to
be decided on as this will help with the rest of the design. If no one
has
any objections i would like to stick with the current colour scheme, as
it
looks fairly nice.
