Subject RE: [IBDI] Mailing list confusion
Author Leyne, Sean
Tim,

Rather than starting yet another list, might I suggest we make use of
the egroups ib-support list. This list is devoted to support questions
for both InterBase and Firebird products/initiatives - it should be
neutral ground.

The more centralized the support avenues, the better for all member of
the community. Also, a new list under Firebird would appear to only
support Firebird problems, which is not really the best solution for an
otherwise fractious community.

I am curious as to why you don't use the sourceforge mailing lists? Th
eproject is hosted there and it seems like a logical place to put the
mailing list too.
