You could try the mers newsserver at news:news.mers.com and then the
newsgroup mers.interbase.list

The mers news servers have been much more stable than the inprise
newsservers lately. I usually have no problems connecting.

(to anyone else interested) To read newsgroups you need some software like
e.g. outlook express, free agent or the like.

The mailing lists are mirrored on the newsgroups, i find it easier to use
news than mailing lists, Ymmv.
