Were can I find some general tech. support for IB6? I've eventually decided
to take the plunge and go for Interbase 6.0.
I've just removed IB5 and installed IB6. Everything works fine and I can
successfully login on to the local server (using IBConsole). However, that's
about as far as I get. Here are 3 of the problems I'm sitting with.
Whenever I try to connect to any database, I get the following error:
Error connecting to the requested database.
Detail Message:
DPB Constant (0) is unknown
Whenever I try to open the Certificates section, I get the following error:
Detailed Message:
Service Error:
Unexpected Output buffer value
Cannot display server certificates
Whenever I create a remote server and try to connect to it, I get the
following error:
Error logging into the requested server.
Detailed Error:
Unable to complete network request to host "MAX".
Failed to establish a connection.
unknown Win32 error 10060
These are all standard requests and I should at least be able to do any of
the above without having problems.
