Hi all,
I've worked around the problem of needing to work in v. 5.1.1 and v. 6
databases from the same machine, by compiling a version of Jason Wharton's
free "view and do" toolkit, IB_WISQL, that loads a client library named
"gds60.dll" instead of "gds32.dll". All you need to use it is a copy of
the v.6 gds32.dll in your ..\system32 directory, renamed to "gds60.dll".
If anyone wants a copy, reply here and I'll post a zipped binary in the
list's Files area.
Cheers,
Helen
