I may be off the mark here (if you are referring to some other IBObjects
than what I know of), but IBO (Interbase Objects, www.ibobjects.com) is not
in the hands of Borland. They've only got IBX, which is still in beta and
would take an awful lot of work to be a serious competitor to IBO. IBO is
not open source, but Jason Whartons "trustware licence model" makes it well
worth the money for commercial developers, and free for non-commercial use
and those contributing to its development.
