I would thank you if we stop speaking of Postgres all the day and use it
only as a tech comparation with some challenges that IB must face regarding
new features. I still think this list is for IB.

I agree with you that the air has become almost not breathable and the
visibility is bad due to the fog, but for this week, the only important
thing seems to be that people that want to be involved get acquaintance with
the code until the Borland position can be made clear and their nice sayings
of goodwill convert into facts or another entity appears. Shelton has wrote
that Borland welcomes the creation of NewCo's based on the Interbase
business, right?
I don't know anything about Jim at this moment. If he took any final
decision, probably we won't know on a weekend.

I'm not surprised about the clear vision. The "map" for the future was
broken with the final statement of Borland. The community needs to rethink
the path. That's the main problem. Don't know if we have the super-leader
you want, but at least some former ISC employees are appearing in this list
or IB-Architect, like Reed Mideke, Mark Duquette and Dave Schnepper.

I can't tell you who are the bad and good people. I can't tell you if I'm a
bad or good boy in this list, because this is a decision left to the rest of
the readers. I only can say that I'm an upset long-time Borland customer.
The company formerly known as Borland, then Inprise, then Borland.com and
now GottfriedLand has decided to declare the war to its customers while Ted
Shelton on another side, sends us an angelical message saying that BorPrise
welcomes the birth of new companies based on the new Interbase model. Who
understands? Maybe I need to be a lawyer.
