Hi All,
Is anyone else having the same problem as I do viewing our site with IE5?
Down the left side of the main pages is a set of menu buttons - 11 in all.
With IE5 I'm consistently not seeing buttons 8 (InterBase Corporation) and
9(Press Releases). There are no "broken image" symbols there, just gaps.
Also, to the left and right of the central column should be fine, vertical
dark teal-green lines. Now I don't see them at all.
If I view the source, I can see the tags for these missing graphics. I've
tried emptying the cache, but it makes no difference. And I can't even see
these missing graphics when I view the pages with the original source code
and graphics (a complete copy of what is on the server).
With Netscape, everything looks as it should.
Before last weekend, when we had our older masthead graphics (which were
flat images done with the Paint program), I could see the full display in
IE5. Our new mastheads are much more highly rendered.
It seems weird if the new mastheads are doing this, as all of the menu
buttons are identical apart from the wording on them...even the new
Documentation button shows OK.
Please observe and report, before I shoot myself.
Thanks,
Helen
