Scott,
catch-up. We want our wheels on the ground! With technological advances
becomming more rapid all the time a product can't afford even 6 months of
non-productivity. We have the edge on the competition in this new paradigm
and I want it to stay that way.
We know enough about the moves Inprise is making that it is imperitive to
unite and organize the developer community. You apparently have not had that
much exposure to an open source project.
Let me be blunt, OSS projects live and die by the community. I for one have
a lot invested in InterBase and I am very serious about strengthening its
viability. Aren't you?
Now that WE can make a difference it is time for us to rise to the
challenge.

>Excuse me, but what the hell are you talking about 'time pressures'?The goal here is that once Inprise makes up their mind we won't have to play
catch-up. We want our wheels on the ground! With technological advances
