Im not saying to dump CVS. I'm saying all opportunities should be
considered. Im also not
specifcially talking about Uniteam. After talking with root, we want to
present ALL available options.

Again, lets take your statement and replace a two key words...

I can understand the desire to do this and support your effort but I've
just gotta say I think it is unnecessary effort. Windows is the de facto
standard in the business world. It works well for many business
needs. Clearly it is sufficient, supported, and well
regarded. Why look at anything else?

Do you reject the validity of Linux? Or better yet, lets try this one:

So maybe we should just dump Interbase all together and use Oracle?

I'm not meaning to target you specifically, but maybe get you to expand your
view point a little bit.
