Database shadow, for example. The code is already there and it works.
Despite the common belief placing shadow on NFS-share proves to be as
reliable as placing it on the local drive. There are already some
off-list discussions about improving the code to allow seamless
failover to another server which takes the shadow over and uses it as
its main database.
