All,
On the ideas of taking regular hourly backups, I was thinking more in
terms of a standby database which would perhaps be a minute or two
behind, not an hour! Taking an incremental backup every minute would
have to be a big drain on performance and rather unmanageable.
The fact is that the current shadow system is writing the right
information, just to the wrong place. It would only take small change
to fix this, wouldn't it?
Anyone know why the Windows version can't use Windows shares for a
shadow?
