Dear Members,
I have forwaded an mail which I raised in firebird-support earlier. I
think it might be related to fb architecture. If you feel so kindly
clarify my doubts.

Dear Members ,
My application has embedded firebird db. When I connect db through
classic libraries in linux , I get a messages that "lock manager:
couldn't set uid to superuser". I get this messages when i make
multiple connection in my firebird embedded application. I get this
message only in linux,
When I run my application in super user (root) there no such messages.
I hope firebird tries to set super user id for lock manager. If this
operation fails , in turn does it harm the behaviour of firebird.
But my application runs without any problem in user login. It just
logs the message. Is this message harmless.? Please do clarify me what
is the significance of this message so that I can fix the same in my
fb embedded application?
With thanks & regards,
S.Karthick
