wrote it in Delphi (I can;t help it C++ scares me). I am sure that there
are white papers for writing DBX drivers and I am sure I have seen an
article on it in the Delphi Magazine.
The only thing I will say is that due to the way the DBX functionaility is
surfaced, it will always have that lowest common denominator feel as far as
I can see as it is wrapped by standard VCL components, e.g. I can't see
there being a way to surface IBEvents using the DBX layer. I may be way off
the mark.
I'll dig out the article and anything I can on Borlands Website.
