I think there will be "CREATE OR ALTER" syntax as it is works
for other objects (procedures, triggers, etc).
I see disabled code for "Create or alter view" syntax in current CVS
version.

I recommended to switch to Oracle syntax ("CREATE OR REPLACE"), but it
was declined because of new non-standard keyword introduced.
