Yes, you can do lots of stuff in IB stored procs ... but not too much. Jim
mentioned Java as a logical alternative (eh, addition) to the IB stored proc
language - is there any idea on the subject what has to be done to get IB
recognize Java for it's procedures? Or any idea how much time/work it would
take to drastically improve IBs procedure and trigger language?

Just curious - I worked with Oracle PL/SQL for some time... and it's good.
