Yesterday I tried to create a table with 150+ fields. It prepared OK, but
when executing I got
"ISC ERROR CODE:335544351
ISC ERROR MESSAGE:
unsuccessful metadata update
STORE RDB$RELATION_FIELDS failed
attempt to store duplicate value (visible to active transactions) in unique
index "RDB$INDEX_15"
STATEMENT:
TIB_DSQL: "frmWISQL.dsqlEdit""
In the end I found that I had two fields named the same and eventually even
which two fields. Of course, I never ought to have named two fields the
same, but I still think an error message like "duplicate field name:
<fieldname>" would have been preferable. Is there any plans to brush up the
error messages?

(sorry if this is the wrong forum for suggestions, I'm only used to
ibobjects and ib-support and didn't subscribe to this list until today)
