I have released first beta version of InterBase ODBC driver for testing and assessment. I have been working with ODBC solutions against InterBase server for about two years and finally decided to make available results to public. Those who need InterBase data access solutions are welcome to download and use this version.

Sorry, there is no installer yet.

I have not yet decided how to release future versions the code, in open source form or not. While there are commercial providers of similar products, I consider free distribution distribution inappropriate. If you have suggestions, write me karyakin@....

Features
� The driver is conformant with Level 1 of ODBC specification. It Implements all Level 1, Level 2 and most of the Level 2 functions.
� The driver supports InterBase version 6 featured, including new data types. It is also backward compatible with versions 4.x and 5.x. There is a possibility to adjust client dialect at data source setup.
� The driver supports SQL roles.
