I've just got the E-mail from the russian postings on Linux. There was the
article on the competition between open source database servers. Ant there was
the conclusion : think, what is better.
I think that it's not the only article on this subject in the net. So the
community has to contrast another comparison, made with optimizing the Interbase
perfomance and with the detailed set of differences between databases in their
abilities - language, sequrity, etc. And it's nesessary to post this comparison
in some well-known forum, journal.., not in the IB-Architect forom only. In other
case the current situation can reduce the popularity of IB.
P.S. The difference in production between IB and Postgre wasn't significant from
my point of view, so such a delta could be caused by the software settings.
