I ran into a related issue using php3 for InterBase. Unless
I am missing something, php3 (for IB) does not seem to support
'execute procedures' so to use them I had to put a suspend
in my execute procedure (a no-no according to the doc) and
call them as select procedures.

Is this related to the problem we're talking about here?
