I realise that this is an IB architect group, but had a quick question.

I believe that version 6.0 of Interbase will be Open Source, I was wondering
what the situation was with regards to licenses for Interbase. Will they
exist? and if so, will they cost approximately the same?

Also, any statistics on how widely used Interbase is? I have seen it used a
lot in the UK, but in the US it seems to fall foul of Oracle / SQL Server.
