All,

I have been thinking about a new feature for IB/Firebird and I have some
background questions which I would like to ask so make sure that I'm on
the right path...

1) It has often been noted that generators have no transaction
context, they are outside of transaction control. Does this mean that
the generator DB page also has no transaction context/information?

2) Are all other DB structures updated in a transaction context?
Put another way, does the engine maintain transaction versions of all
other DB structures?
