right now nobody can reproduce this error - and our testers are good in reproducing things :-)

I use MadExcept - if it ever triggers this exception I send you the bugreport.

And I think your solution will work....

What would be the most helpful is if there could be some kind of a reliable
test case to reproduce the error.

If you could at least put something in place to get a callstack of the
error, that would also help.

Otherwise, I'm not sure what I can do.

Although, it's possible I could have it auto-recover from this particular
error and automatically get a new statement handle and silently recover.
What do you think of this solution?

And no: We don't doing multi-threading.

I didn't find something about the error code yesterday. If it's due to a bad
statement handle: We close the connection to the database for some special
operations (backup / restore the database) and open it after that. If there
is a TIB_Query which isn't closing correct, could this cause this assertion?

It says 335544485 is due to a bad statement handle. I'm wondering if
perhaps you are doing multi-threading and something is getting messed up due
to that?
