Subject Re: [IBO] Anyone knows why FIrebird on VPS cannot access UDF\FreeUDFLib.dll
Author Chuck Belanger
Thank you for your response, but I checked all the obvious, including
registering the UDFs.

Again, I can move the database to a local HD and access the UDFs just
fine. Or, I can move it to a different server, not a VPS, and it works

IBExpert lists all the UDFs, like Database Workbench.

That error typically means:

1. The UDF dll is not in the path that the firebird.conf says it should be.

2. The entry point name in the source does not match the registration.

3. The DLL could be compiled in the wrong format, i.e. 64 vs 32 bit.

Anything else you can think of?

Using a VPS is totally new to me!
