Put the IB_Import.pas source file in place of the
existing one in the source\tools subdirectory.
Then, go into the build\ sub-directory and run the build batch
file to rebuild all your binaries.
You will need to close your IDE before you can run the batch
file to rebuild all your IBO sources.
In this way, the new source file will be compiled into your
binaries so that your projects will benefit from it.
Please let me know if you run into any
problems.

thank you for diving into this.
I take it that I cannot simply exchange the file but instead have to reinstall the package once the new file is in place.
Can you give me a short description on how to get the new code working?
Plus, where would I find the information to access the SVN repository?
