Subject RE: [IBO] Component Help
Author IBO Support List
I agree the component help is not as readily accessible as it should be, but there is a way you can access it.

What I recommend you do is get familiar with the comments in the interface sections where the various clases and base classes are being defined. I have them in the source code itself, which can be accessed using the features in the IDE to pull up the source definitions right in the source.

Hope this helps,
Jason Wharton

Subject: [IBO] Component Help

The help information on IBObjects components does not seem to cover the functions they each perform, as opposed to their properties, events, methods etc. This means one has no idea of the facilities provided to the user, and hence cannot make best use of them in creating an application.

Have I missed something, and/or is there a separate text on component functions?  When I first used Delphi (which was just with Paradox) the help on component functions was invaluable and I can't see how to progress on IBO without it.
