I am so pleased that Jason has confirmed a release of IB Objects for Delphi XE6 is imminent and that you will be looking to support IBO.    Good news all round.

You have a great choice in IBO and Firebird.   There are so many features in IBO.    I will admit I do not use or exploit all of them.

As I said I  use FireDAC and IBO in tandem.     I am supportive of them both.

It is great too that Jason can release quickly to support the DXE releases.   As I have said they are thick and fast and not all component providers are as quick.  Another plus for Jason and IBO.     I  had quite a task moving from XE4 to XE5 as FireDAC changed from AnyDAC with library changes.    IBO was stable.

Good choice.  Well done.

Kind regards

Francis

Hi Francis,

In my case is more cheap buy a Delphi Professional and IBO, i can save 60% of my money... the Delphi Enterprise is very expensive for a little developer and my client are a small offices with 2 or 3 computers.

Before 2001 i worked with IBX and Interbase, but now a days i work with IBO and Firebird.

Well i believe that Jason will post a update for Delphi XE6 near.

Thanks

Carlos
