It is probably very unfair of me to point out on this list that XE6 (depending on versions) contains FireDAC.  

 

We have successfully used both IB Objects for which we have large developments and FireDAC together.    

 

I have XE6 and as ever we have a short wait for components to come on stream for XE6.    Embarcadero have been very active in terms of releases of late. 

 

However if you have XE6 and FireDAC then you will be able to have the Firebird access for now.  

 

I remain very supportive of IB Objects and the work that Jason does for our community.

I will buy a Delphi XE6 only for works with Firebird.
