FYI: I had another person get their app to freeze up and we were able to
isolate and resolve that issue.

If you can reproduce it in your application reliable there won't be a sample
app required. We can just apply the hotfix and see if it cures up your
issue.

Please let me know when you would like to move forward on this.

We did not manage to reproduce the issue in a sample application with sample
database.

We noticed that some errors are gone by using the autofetchall (for smaller
tables) and using horizontalAlignment with a descending index on the primary
key (for the big tables).
I suppose the access violation is the consequence of a timeout somehow.

So for now our problems are solved, but we're still testing the complete
application.

Brief update:
We've found out that removing pessimistic lock from another query (not using
the same tables or fields), resolves the problem.

however we do need this mechanism for this specific query.

I'll send the example as soon as it's ready.
