Hello fellow IBOers.



One of the requirements of the HIPAA law governing security requires that we

Encrypt the data at rest.

Is there any functionality in 4.x version that allows encryption (any 128bit
or higher) of 'data at rest' . 'Data at rest' means if you close your
connection the database is still encrypted.



If IBO doesn't support it... does anyone know of a firebird extension or
plug-in that will allow such encryption? (and is compatible with XP thru
windows 8)



If not perhaps here is an idea for future development.

IBO4_9_14_Installer, but it doesn't seem to work (nothing shows up in
Delphi).
