A time machine would be a good start ;)
*I* need to find a lot more time to simply get legacy Builder code to work in XE
at all. I've converted a number of the projects and they compile. IBO is not the
problem as such, but I relied on a couple of packages that will not work with XE
and I'm not sure how to replace them.

It is becoming critical that I get a working set of programs but some sites ARE
still running W2k simply because replacing legacy hardware which will not work
on later versions of Windows is not yet an option. I even have XP licences on
the shelf for the CNC kit which is RELIANT on a working parallel port which W7
64bit is unable to support at all, and I use the parallel port directly to
control much of the infrastructure :(

These days even LINUX has real problems working with perfectly serviceable kit.
I have to move cables around to reboot the machines on the network here because
Linux now refuses to allow me to reset the graphics cards without a direct
connection to the monitors, and replacing the KVM switch is currently something
I can't afford to do even if I could find one that WILL work :( OH and XP now
shuts down the desktop graphics card if no monitor is attached, so all the
display controllers had to be stopped from allowing windows updates ...
something which the on site IT will not allow.

Progress seems to be backwards? But should the customer be liable for the bill?
