No I didn't, should I?

Experimenting with the settings AllowHorizontalRefinement, FetchWholeRows
and IndexFieldNames, none of them seem to significantly change the
performance of MyTable.Last. I tried all 8 combinations.
Also adding a descending index to the primary key doesn't seem to do any
difference.
Am I missing something here?
