It is possible there could be a bug in the TIBOUpdateSQL component.
Would you please privately send me sufficient information, preferably a
simple sample app, so that I can duplicate this problem?
Thanks,
Jason

Subject: [IBO] TIBOUPdateSQL "cannot modify a read-only dataset"
Hello, I'm trying Tryal version of the IBO and I have the following problem.
I have a TIBOQuery connected to a TIBOUpdateSQL with the three properties
xxxxxSQL correctly set but still get the error in question. Instead of
directly using the properties of TIBOQuery seems to work fine, except that I
have already written code that uses the component UpdateSQL (porting). Is
there a way to fix the problem or this type of use has been abandoned?
Thanks to everyone who answered me.
Maurizio
