Hi Markus,
It would be easier for me to work with you if you were up to the latest of
5.3.1 since I think I vaguely recall that being an issue in the past and it
has been fixed for some time now. If your subscription has expired, let me
know and I will give you an extension free of charge in order to look at the
latest.
Another possible path to take is to send me a sample app that the problem is
isolated in that I can test. I will take the time to revert back to the
older version and compare it to the latest and try and give you a good
understanding of what is wrong, etc.
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Jason

Subject: [IBO] EIB_DatasetError: Cursor is not open
Hi all,
I'm debugging some code which I *think* worked some time ago (Delphi
2007, IBO4).
Anyways we upgraded the project to XE3 and IBO 5.2.0 7 and now I'm
getting the subject exception raised in TIB_Dataset.SysFetchNext when
I call IB_Transaction.Commit.
The exception occurs during SysProcessCommitAction, with the
TIB_Query's CommitAction being caFetchAll.
Does anyone have a general idea what I should look for?
What exactly does this error mean -- that a cursor created via
Firebird API is no longer available?
Let me know if you need more information.
TIA,
Markus
