Use the type RawByteString to declare a local variable.
Then, just read and write to the Bookmark property.
SelectedBookmark is for dealing with the selected flag on the records.
InvalidateBookmark is when you pass in a bookmark to tell IBO to refresh
just that single record from the server.

So after looking at the properties and methods of IB_Query, I assume I use:
ABookMark := qry.Bookmark
//do something
qry.SelectedBookMark[ABookMark] //to return to record
qry.InvalidateBookMark(ABookMark); //not sure this is needed?
