This is an issue that I have been working on recently. Are you using the
latest of IBO? If not, you may wish to get the latest and try again and see
if the behaviour is improved.

it seems a bit complicated... In the meantime I found out, if I start the
loop (via ButtonClick) and move the mouse outside the main window, the
performance is nomal! Only if the mouse cursor is inside the window,
performance is slow...

FetchWholeRows is true and I doesn't use the SQL-Trace monitor until now...
