I just sent you my little test source code plus database.
Since I don't know where to send it to for Jason,
maybe you wish to forward it. Last times I tried
to senfd to Jason it always seemed to get lost.
Firebird 2.1.3. Unzip to c:\test. Bet with IBO checked
and not using IBO's datapump the test will be considerably
faster using your modified version of IBObjects :)
I work with Intel SSD drives (no moving parts,
just memory chips, super fast) and an Intel 6600
Quad Core CPU. Explaining some reasons for
the timing differences. Delphi 5. IBO V4.8.10
The fastest by 25% is the FIB test over the
IBPump test. But the IB with field assign is
4 times slower that the same FIB test
I hope I have done things correctly
Best Regards
Hans
