No doubt there is some substance to the blaming on both sides of this
argument. Personally I find it very difficult to think clearly and do
any work if I get involved in this kind of emotion, so none of this is
remotely helpful, and is actually damaging and counterproductive. Let's
just cooperate and make progress. The past is another country. Life is
so much more enjoyable that way, and besides, we want a D2009 compatible
version of IBO, not the Spanish Inquisition.

Jason,

I'm getting back to this.

This is a bold statement to make Jason, I wonder if this anger coming
from you is because "we" are right or because you're trying to blame
someone else for your apparent misery.

Now that you've played the "blame"-card I can see where this is going.

Do you also want to blame me for telling your customers to stay around
and hang on when I'm at conferences, when they ask me if I know what's
going on with you?

Do you also want to blame me for trying to contact you or Helen for
that matter in order to try and understand what's going on at your end?

Do you also want to blame me for you not having a (decent) internet
connection for months at a time?

Do you also want to blame me for not keeping up with Firebird releases?

Do you also want to blame me for not participating in the Delphi 2009
field test?

I could go on and on Jason, but it seems you can just blame me for not
bothering anymore because there's hardly a point in trying to contact
you:
your spam filter is failing, your internet connection is hardly ever
there
and IF you get a message, you fail to act month after month after month.
Yep, blame me for that, feel free to do so...

I certainly hope that the people closer to you give a damn about you,
as do the people around me. For those around me, I'm certain they would
tell me I'm going gradually insane if they see me blaming everyone else
for my own decisions.

Good luck with your personal life, as I've always wished you.

With regards,

Martijn Tonies
