Step 1: upgrade to the latest non-D2009-release IBO.

Step 2: test & fix your app.

Step 3: upgrade to the D2009-ready-release of IBO (in D7),
also update any other component sets.

Step 4: test & fix your app.

Step 5: migrate your app to D2009, goto step 4.
