Hi,

I have the latest IBO4.9.6a Beta and Delphi 2010 and the dbVersion parameter is returning the correct value, IBODatabase1.Characteristics.dbVersion returns 'WI-V6.3.2.18118 Firebird 2.1' as does IB_ConnectionInfo1.Version.

Maybe try cleaning and rebuilding you application and the IBO packages?
